Not my first time, but Bea's. In fact, this must have been, at least, the third time I entered the Lisbon Oceanarium.
The first one was in 1998, during Expo'98 in that place that came to be called Parque das Nações. After 21 years, I come back hand in hand with my baby girl. What a great feeling!
I've long wanted to get her to meet this "giant-sized aquarium," where all the oceans that cover the world we live in fit into. Inside, in one minute we are in the Atlantic Ocean and in the other we are in the Indian Ocean. Here we can find the most varied species of sea animals. There are sharks, manta rays, octopuses, penguins, otters, seahorses, anemones, sardines and more ...
I never thought Bea would be so enchanted. At age two, she was not afraid of the dark and walked all the time excitedly, from room to room, in search of 'new families of fish' to meet. So, if you have children, do not hesitate to visit the Lisbon Oceanarium.
To remember that, last year, the Lisbon Oceanarium was considered the best in the world by TripAdvisor. And this was the third time that it won this honorable title. In 2018, the Oceanarium received 1.3 million visits.
Also the work of conservation of the oceans, carried out by the team of the Oceanarium has been an international reference.
Não a minha primeira vez, mas sim a da Bea. Até porque, na verdade, esta deve ter sido pelo menos a terceira vez que entrei no Oceanário de Lisboa.
A primeira foi em 1998, durante a Expo'98 naquele lugar que veio a chamar-se o Parque das Nações. Passados 21 anos, volto ali a entrar de mão dada com a minha filha. Que sensação tão boa!
Já há muito que queria levá-la a conhecer este "aquário de tamanho gigante", onde cabem todos os oceanos que cobrem o mundo em que vivemos. No seu interior, tão depressa estamos no Oceano Atlântico como no Oceano Índico. Aqui podemos encontrar as mais variadas espécies de animais do mar. Há tubarões, raias, polvos, pinguins, lontras, cavalos marinhos, anémonas, sardinhas e muito mais...
Nunca pensei que a Bea ficasse tão encantada. Com dois anos, ela não teve medo do escuro e andou o tempo todo entusiasmada, de sala em sala, em busca de 'novas famílias de peixes' para conhecer. Portanto, se tem filhos, não hesite em visitar o Oceanário de Lisboa.
De relembrar que, no ano passado, o Oceanário de Lisboa foi considerado o melhor do mundo pelo site de viagens TripAdvisor. E esta foi a terceira vez que venceu este tão honroso título. Em 2018, o Oceanário recebeu 1,3 milhões de visitas.
Também o trabalho de conservação dos oceanos, levado a cabo pela equipa do Oceanário de Lisboa tem sido referência internacional.
