Traditionally, the royal family takes a break in summer, and the Dukes of Cambridge are no exception. As usual, they decided to spend some time off on Mustique, a private island in the Caribbean.
Kate, William, and their kids were already spotted on the isle, after doing the same in 2018. And thanks to some reporting in the Sun, this time, royal watchers now know exactly where on Mustique they stayed. The Cambridge family took over Villa Antilles, a five-bedroom colonial style abode owned by Prince William's friend Andrew Dunn.
Household staff include one butler, one chef, one housekeeper, and one gardener. Apparently Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, have joined the family.
Mustique has been a royal-approved getaway for decades, dating back to Princess Margaret's stays on the island in the 1970s. In addition to boasting picturesque beaches and luxurious accommodations, the island takes security and privacy very seriously, making it an ideal destination for celebrities and royals alike.
The island has adhered to a strict no-paparazzi policy, which is part of the reason why celebrities flock there. Drones are also not allowed on the island, and guests visiting from other islands for the day are relegated to staying in specific spots.
