Ugly Dumplings

Carnaby Street receives first concept restaurant dedicated to dumplings. Ping Wong, founder of Ugly Dumplings and street food operator, has collaborated with investment partner Philipp Chaykin to develop a new menu, featuring a brunch offering and a global twit on dumpling recipes.

 

Ping Wong has experience at the Michelin-stared Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, as well as in the street food markets such as Camden Lock and Dinerama in Shoreditch. The new restaurante has opened in 2017 on a quiet corner of Newburgh Street and let me say, there’s nothing ugly about it! The place is actually really beautiful and cosy.

 

The dumplings on the menu follow the Asian home recipes of Ping Wong, although with a fusion of imaginative combinations by Philipp Chaykin.

Ping Wong, fundador da Ugly Dumplings e mercador de rua, colaborou com o parceiro de investimento Philipp Chaykin para desenvolver um novo menu, oferecendo uma oferta de brunch e um twit global nas receitas dos 'dumplings'.

 

Ping Wong tem experiência no Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, restaurante galardoado com estrelas Michelin, bem como nos mercados de alimentos de rua como Camden Lock e Dinerama em Shoreditch. O novo restaurante abriu em 2017 num cantinho bastante tranquilo da Newburgh Street e deixem-me dizer que ao contrário do nome, não há nada de feio nele! O lugar é realmente muito bonito e acolhedor.

 

Os bolinhos de massa no menu seguem as receitas tradicionais asiáticas de Ping Wong, embora recebam uma fusão de combinações imaginativas por Philipp Chaykin.
